• Salary: €2,100–€3,000 gross per month, depending on experience and skills

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies and complete products
• Work according to technical drawings, assembly instructions and established procedures
• Use hand tools, power tools, drills and other workshop equipment safely and accurately
• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment used for prototyping and production
• Operate a laser cutter and prepare or adjust suitable manufacturing files
• Support CNC machining activities based on your existing skills and experience
• Carry out basic measurements, inspections and functional checks
• Participate in the testing of assembled products and components
• Identify manufacturing or assembly issues and report them to the engineering team
• Support troubleshooting, rework and corrective activities
• Work with adhesives and materials such as epoxy when required
• Record completed work, measurements, issues and test results accurately
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in good condition
• Provide practical feedback on assembly methods, manufacturing processes and work instructions

• Vocational education in mechanics, machining, manufacturing technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Previous practical experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, prototyping or an R&D workshop
• Practical mechanical assembly skills
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, measurements and assembly instructions
• Confidence using standard hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• Ability to recognise practical problems and ask for guidance when required
• A careful, methodical and quality-focused approach
• Ability to follow instructions and document completed work accurately
• A reliable, responsible and safety-conscious attitude
• Willingness and ability to learn new machines, tools and processes
• Sufficient English to understand technical instructions and communicate with an international team

Strong practical experience may compensate for the absence of formal vocational education.

• Experience operating CNC machines, particularly five-axis CNC equipment
• Experience with CNC machine setup, G-code or CAM software
• Experience using Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM software
• Experience operating laser cutters and working with DXF or similar manufacturing files
• Experience with drilling, milling, turning or other machining processes
• Experience working with epoxy, adhesives or composite materials
• Experience assembling precision mechanical or optical systems
• Experience in prototype production, low-volume manufacturing or an R&D environment
• Familiarity with inspection, measurement and production documentation
• Experience in aerospace, defence, robotics, automotive or another quality-critical industry

Previous aerospace or space-industry experience is not required.

• A monthly gross salary of €2,100–€3,000, depending on your experience and skills
• Hands-on work with advanced space and optical communication technology

Our selection process is expected to include:
